The structured cotton gives it a bit of stiffness that actually holds its shape instead of going floppy after a wash. My daughter wears it open over a tee to school, and it's already become the layer she grabs for chilly mornings.

Bought this for my 8-year-old who refuses anything "itchy" and he actually keeps it on all day. The light blue denim is soft enough to wear over a t-shirt but still structured enough that it doesn't look sloppy. It's become his go-to layer for school mornings.
